Product Overview

The Xaar 502 GS8 UVR (UV-Curable Recirculation) printhead features PrecisionPlus actuator architecture combined with full TF Technology ink recirculation for continuous nozzle health, instant priming, and maximum resistance to ink sedimentation with UV-curable inks. It incorporates 500 active nozzles at 180 npi native density across a 70.5 mm print swathe, supporting fine greyscale drops from 8 to 40 pL with up to 6 grey levels. Ultra High Viscosity Technology enables advanced UV ink formulations, while the robust construction, integrated in-line filter, and WFG nozzle guard ensure long-term operational reliability for industrial continuous-print systems.

Technical Precision & Operational Advisory

Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Protection: Always wear a grounded ESD wrist strap and work on an ESD-safe surface when handling sensitive electronic parts. Piezo actuators are sensitive to static voltage spikes.
Power Isolation Warning: Fully power off the equipment and disconnect main power sources before replacing parts, connecting flexible flat cables (FFC), or handling fluid lines.
UV Light & Ink Protection: Protect printhead nozzles from ambient UV exposure or direct curing lamp reflection during maintenance to prevent ink curing on the nozzle face plate.
Professional Installation: It is strongly recommended to have replacement performed by a certified technician following standard technical protocols. Always install brand-new ribbon cables during printhead replacement.

Compatible Models & Systems

Brand / Integration	Compatible Models
Industrial UV Systems	Industrial OEM systems designed for Xaar 502 GS8 UVR UV-curable recirculating TF Technology series, including UV wide-format graphics printers, coding and marking systems, packaging line printers, and continuous production industrial inkjet platforms utilizing Xaar 502 UV recirculation architecture.
