Featuring 1,280 nozzles arranged in four staggered rows of 320 nozzles, it delivers native 600 dpi resolution with excellent image quality. Multi-drop greyscale technology provides variable droplet volumes starting from 7 pL (binary) up to approximately 21 pL* (practical range; official capability extends higher depending on ink), enabling smooth tonal reproduction across 4 grey levels. With jetting frequencies of 30 kHz in binary mode and 20 kHz in greyscale mode, the MH5420 balances quality and productivity. Fully compatible with UV, solvent and aqueous inks, this head uses isolated ink paths supporting up to two colors and includes an integrated heater and thermistor for stable viscosity control.
