Product Overview
The Genuine Ricoh MH2420 (Gen4) is a compact and highly durable industrial inkjet printhead designed for multi-ink applications. Featuring 384 nozzles arranged in two staggered rows of 192 nozzles, it delivers native 300 dpi resolution with excellent reliability. Multi-drop greyscale technology enables variable droplet volumes from 7 pL (binary) up to 35 pL, supporting smooth tonal reproduction across 4 grey levels. Maximum jetting frequencies of 30 kHz in binary mode and 20 kHz in greyscale mode provide solid productivity for industrial use. Fully compatible with UV, solvent and aqueous inks, the MH2420 incorporates a robust stainless-steel construction with high corrosion resistance and an integrated heater plus thermistor for stable viscosity control of higher-viscosity fluids. Isolated ink paths support up to two colors. Its compact size (print width 32.4 mm) and proven long service life make it well-suited for coding & marking, direct-to-shape, wide-format graphics and other industrial printing systems.
