The Toshiba TEC CE4 is an original OEM multi-drop greyscale industrial inkjet printhead designed for high-quality industrial printing applications. It features higher nozzle density with 636 channels, delivering a printable width of 53.7 mm at 300 dpi native resolution (channel pitch 84.5 μm).
Unique multi-drop technology allows jetting of multiple drops onto a single dot, creating a wide greyscale range of up to 16 levels with drop volumes from a minimum of 6 pL to a maximum of 90 pL (15 drops). Standard firing frequencies reach 28 kHz at 1 drop, 6.2 kHz at 7 drops and 2.8 kHz at 15 drops. Linear speeds of up to 35 m/min (1 drop, 1200 dpi) or 31 m/min (7 drops, 300 dpi) are achievable.
