OEM Part Number: Seiko 1024HG-L (28 pL) / IRH2533W Series | High-Coverage Multi-Drop Greyscale Piezoelectric Drop-on-Demand (DoD) Jetting Assembly
The Seiko Instruments 1024HG-L (28 pL) is an authentic original equipment manufacturer (OEM) piezoelectric drop-on-demand (DoD) industrial inkjet printhead engineered specifically for high-throughput grand-format graphics, corrugated packaging, ceramic tile decoration, textile printing, and heavy-laydown UV-curable industrial coating. Featuring a continuous 1,024-nozzle configuration arranged in a high-density interleaved array, the 1024HG-L is optimized for multi-drop greyscale operation, starting from a base native droplet volume of 28 picoliters (pL) and scaling up to 140 pL composite drop sizes.
Built on Seiko's isolated shear-mode PZT piezoelectric ceramic technology and fitted with a high-durability stainless steel nozzle guard, the 1024HG-L provides robust chemical resistance against aggressive solvent carriers, high-viscosity oil inks, and reactive UV-curable formulations. Its high native 28 pL volume provides rapid area fill, dense color saturation, and opaque white or varnish laying at firing frequencies up to 24 kHz in multi-drop modes, supported by an internal heating element and precision thermistor for closed-loop fluid viscosity control.

1. Mandatory ESD Grounding: PZT shear-mode piezoelectric crystals and onboard CMOS shift registers are Class 1 ESD-sensitive components. Technicians must wear a grounded ESD wrist strap and work on a static-dissipative work mat. Never connect or disconnect FFC data cables while the carriage board or main power supply is energized.
2. Degassing & Meniscus Vacuum Control: Operating high-volume drops (28–140 pL) at frequency requires properly degassed ink and precise negative pressure regulation (typically -2.0 to -4.0 mbar, system specific). Unstable meniscus vacuum will result in nozzle weeping, ink starvation, or severe air ingestion during high-frequency firing bursts.
3. Storage Fluid Purge Protocol: Factory-shipped printheads contain a protective storage fluid. Flush the printhead thoroughly using filtered, compatible flush fluid (filtered to 0.2 microns) before charging with production UV or solvent inks to prevent cross-contamination and nozzle dropouts.
4. Orifice Plate Maintenance: Never wipe the nozzle face with dry cloths or abrasive materials. Use only dedicated lint-free cleanroom polyurethane swabs soaked in approved flush solvent, or utilize the automated capping and wiping station with silicone wiper blades.

*Model Differentiation Note: This printhead is dedicated strictly to the Seiko 1024HG-L (28 pL) model. It is NOT interchangeable with the small-drop Seiko 1024GS (7 pL) model or medium-drop variants without corresponding firmware, drive waveform, and driver board configuration changes. Check the part code and voltage rank on the printhead casing prior to unsealing.
Condition: 100% Brand New, Unopened Factory Original Genuine OEM Component in Factory-Sealed Anti-Static Packaging with Factory Storage Fluid Intact.
Warranty Scope: Covered by standard manufacturer DOA replacement protection against electrical continuity failures and physical manufacturing defects upon initial arrival. Operating lifespan and nozzle stability are governed by ink filtration, degassing quality, correct waveform tuning, and routine maintenance compliance.
Return Policy: Precision industrial electronic consumable. Due to sensitivity to electrostatic discharge, internal fluid priming requirements, and contamination risks once unsealed, components that have been removed from their static-shielding bag, filled with ink, flushed with solvents, or energized cannot be returned or restocked under standard commercial terms. Please confirm your printer model and drop-volume specification with technical support prior to unsealing.
