Genuine OEM Canon Océ 3W3010106120 (3010106120) piezoelectric industrial UV printhead engineered for first-generation Océ Arizona 200 GT and 250 GT flatbed printers.
OEM Part Number: 3010106120 / 3W3010106120 | Transducer Engine: Toshiba TEC CA3 Grayscale Piezoelectric Printhead Module with Integrated Heating & Thermistor
The Original Océ 3010106120 (Toshiba TEC CA3) Printhead Assembly is an industrial drop-on-demand (DoD) piezoelectric module designed for rigid flatbed printing up to 48 mm (1.89 in) media thickness (acrylic, corrugated plastic, composite panels, glass, and wood) as well as continuous roll media on Roll Media Option (RMO) attachments. Operating within the standard 4-channel CMYK carriage configuration of the Arizona 200/250 GT, this unit delivers high-durability commercial graphics with smooth continuous tones.
Featuring 318 active addressable nozzles arranged in a single high-precision line (150 LPI native nozzle pitch, or 300 LPI interleaved dot placement), the CA3 transducer engine delivers native optical output resolutions up to 1440 × 1440 DPI. Pioneering Océ’s proprietary VariaDot imaging technology, the multi-drop grayscale waveform fires variable droplets from a microscopic 6 picoliters up to 42 picoliters across multiple drop levels. This wide dynamic drop range eliminates visual graininess in quarter-tones and highlights while maintaining dense solid fills and high ink economy.

1. Generational Incompatibility (Toshiba CA3 vs. CA4 / CE4): The 3010106120 (Toshiba CA3) is engineered specifically for first-generation Océ Arizona 200 GT / 250 GT platforms. It is NOT interchangeable with Toshiba TEC CA4 (3010107380 / 3010107381) used in Arizona 300 / 350 / 360 / 460 / 480 series, nor with CE4 printheads used in newer Arizona 1200 / 1300 / 2200 series. Drive waveforms, connector pinouts, and voltage tables differ significantly.
2. Service Software Voltage & Waveform Tuning: After physical mounting, the technician must enter the head-specific voltage calibration data via the Océ Service Tool / Arizona Service Interface. Firing the head with incorrect voltage parameters causes drop trajectory deflection, satellite misting, and premature piezo failure.
3. Meniscus Vacuum & Thermal Stabilization: Arizona systems rely on negative pressure vacuum systems to prevent ink dripping. When installing a replacement head, prime the lines thoroughly to purge all micro-bubbles, verify that the head temperature stabilizes around 45°C, and ensure negative meniscus pressure holds steady prior to test printing.
4. Faceplate Maintenance Precautions: Never wipe the metallic nozzle faceplate with dry shop wipes or coarse paper towels. Clean only using approved lint-free swabs moistened with genuine Océ UV flush. Regularly inspect the maintenance station wipers and UV lamp shutters to prevent cured UV ink from accumulating on the nozzle plate due to stray UV scatter.

Condition: 100% Brand New, Genuine OEM Factory-Original Canon / Océ replacement printhead assembly in sealed factory packaging with shipping preservation fluid intact.
Manufacturer Warranty: Covered under standard OEM parts limited warranty against material and manufacturing defects out-of-box prior to ink introduction. No warranty applies once active UV ink or flush fluid has been introduced into the micro-fluidic chambers, or if damage results from head strikes, rigid media crashes, electrostatic discharge, or improper cable seating.
Return Policy: Precision industrial electronic component. Unopened, factory-sealed boxes with intact tamper-evident seals are eligible for standard commercial return. Once the vacuum seal is broken, protective nozzle tape removed, or the head mounted onto a carriage frame, returns cannot be accepted due to fluid priming, static risk, and electrical contamination hazards.
