The Original Mimaki Gen5 Printhead Assembly (M022625 / MP-M022625) is a heavy-duty industrial piezoelectric drop-on-demand (DoD) printhead engineered for continuous production on large-format 4 × 8 ft and 8 × 10 ft flatbed systems. Configured in 2-head or 3-head staggered carriage arrays on the JFX200-2513 and JFX200-2513 EX, this unit jets process colors (CMYK), high-density Opaque White, Gloss Clear, and Primer onto rigid substrates such as acrylic, wood, glass, aluminum composite panels, foam board, and metals up to 50 mm thick.
Engineered with 1,280 active addressable micro-nozzles configured across 4 separate rows (320 nozzles per row), the assembly supports 2-color and 4-color channel routing with a nozzle density of up to 600 NPI. Featuring multi-drop grayscale control with native drop sizes starting at 7 picoliters and variable drops up to 35 picoliters, the M022625 combines fine detail with solid color coverage. Its coated stainless steel (SST) nozzle plate and D33 stacked PZT piezo actuators offer rated mechanical durability of up to 100 billion actuations per nozzle.

CRITICAL TECHNICAL & SERVICE ADVISORY
1. Mandatory Firmware Verification (Recognition Lockout): The M022625 printhead uses an updated internal ID signature. Installing it in a printer running older firmware will result in a head recognition failure. You MUST update your machine firmware before installation:
• Mimaki JFX200-2513: Firmware version v2.60 or later required.
• Mimaki JFX200-2531: Firmware version v2.50 or later required.
