Product Overview

The Konica Minolta KM1024iLHE-C is a robust industrial inkjet printhead designed for high-speed single-pass and multi-pass printing applications that demand large native drop volume and excellent ink coverage. Featuring an independent drive system and a precise 4-row nozzle architecture (256 nozzles × 4), it enables simultaneous firing of all 1024 nozzles at frequencies up to 27 kHz. The 30 pl calibrated drop size provides superior opacity, solid coverage and high productivity, making it ideal for UV flatbed, hybrid, industrial decoration and packaging systems. An integrated heater ensures stable jetting performance across UV-curable, solvent and oil-based inks, while the compact mechanical design supports reliable long-term operation in continuous production environments.

Technical Precision & Operational Advisory

Strict ESD protection is mandatory during handling and installation. Always use grounded wrist straps, anti-static work surfaces and proper packaging procedures.
Ensure complete power isolation of the printer and drive electronics before installing or removing the printhead.
Replace all ink supply tubes, filters, dampers and connectors when installing a new head to prevent contamination and maintain optimal flow.
Prepare fluids correctly: filter ink to the manufacturer-recommended micron rating and follow any required degassing procedures for the specific ink chemistry.
Maintain stable operating temperature using the integrated heater and external system controls (typically ambient to 55 °C). Avoid rapid temperature changes.
Use only the exact waveform, voltage and meniscus pressure settings specified by the printer OEM. Incorrect drive parameters will reduce print quality and service life.
Adhere strictly to the machine’s cleaning, capping and maintenance schedule. Never leave the nozzle plate exposed or dry for extended periods.
