Product Overview

The Xaar 502 GS15 UVR (UV-Curable Recirculation) printhead combines PrecisionPlus actuator architecture with full TF Technology ink recirculation for continuous nozzle health, instant priming, and complete prevention of pigment sedimentation when operating with UV-curable inks. Featuring 500 active nozzles at 180 npi native density across a 70.5 mm print swathe, it supports greyscale drop volumes from 15 to 75 pL with up to 6 grey levels. Enhanced by Ultra High Viscosity capability, a WFG nozzle guard, and an integrated in-line filter, it delivers exceptional jetting stability, maximum uptime, and robust chemical resistance for heavy-duty industrial UV printing applications.

Technical Precision & Operational Advisory

Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Protection: Always wear a grounded ESD wrist strap and work on an ESD-safe surface when handling sensitive electronic parts. Piezo actuators are highly sensitive to static voltage spikes.
Power Isolation Warning: Fully power off the equipment and disconnect main power sources before replacing parts, connecting flexible flat cables (FFC), or handling fluid lines.
Recirculation & UV Ambient Protection: Verify TF Technology recirculation loop pressures and ensure opaque UV-resistant tubing is used. Protect nozzles and fluid lines from ambient UV light to prevent premature curing inside channels.
Professional Installation: It is strongly recommended to have replacement performed by a certified technician following standard technical protocols. Always install brand-new ribbon cables during printhead replacement.

Compatible Models & Systems

Brand / Integration	Compatible Models
Industrial OEM Systems	Industrial OEM systems designed for Xaar 502 GS15 UVR UV-curable recirculating TF Technology series, including UV wide-format graphics printers, coding and marking systems, packaging line printers, and continuous production industrial inkjet platforms utilizing Xaar 502 GS15 UV recirculation architecture.
